Family Support

At Community Living Belleville and Area we are committed to providing seamless services for people with intellectual disabilities - from childhood and on through adulthood. CLBA believes that providing support is paramount in ensuring that people have typical and fulfilling lives in their communities.

CLBA offers a wide range of services, such as:

Out-of-Home Respite

This service offers families respite for their child who has an intellectual disability and is under the age of 18 years. Community Living Belleville and Area provides around-the-clock care to children in a safe environment where the focus is on providing quality supports based upon the needs of the child. Staff meet with children and their families to discuss needs, goals and priorities, ensuring that the respite time for children is fun and exciting and that it provides a much-needed break for parents. Families can access this service through the Hastings and Prince Edward Out-of-Home Respite Committee.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Respite Funding

This service provides families who have a child or youth with ASD, who is under the age of 18 years, funding to access respite services for their child.
